Erzielt man Gewinne und will Geld abheben, geschieht dies einfach.

Also man ist bestens ausgestattet.

MARGIN BESCHREIBUNG IN ENGLISCH:

Margin Policy

MG Financial Group requires a minimum margin of $500 per unit for accounts less than $20,000. Traders must maintain a balance $500 or 1/2% for each open unit. MG Financial Group permits you to trade foreign currencies on a highly leveraged basis (up to 200 times your investment). An investment of $1,000 would enable you to trade up to $200,000 of a particular currency.

MGFG’s Margin Policy is as such:

  • $500 for accounts under $20,000
  • $1000 for accounts between $20,000 and $50,000
  • $2000 for accounts between $50,000 and $100,000
  • $3000 for accounts between $100,000 and $200,000
  • $4000 for accounts over $200,000
  • $5000 margin available on request, which entitles the account holder to earn interest on overnight positions.

When one’s account balance is no longer able to cover one’s minimum margin requirement, one’s positions are closed automatically. Due to the fact that margin requirements are so low, the Trader will not receive a margin call warning, but will instead be closed out automatically.

Examples:

I. You have $1,000 on your account. You did one trade of one unit. The minimum margin requirement is $500. At the time when you are losing $400 you decide to close your position. Your new balance is $600. You still can trade. But if your losses amount to $101 your position will be closed automatically and your account will be left with a balance of $499, not enough to open a new position.

II. You have $2000 on your account. You do one trade consisting of two units. The minimum margin requirement is now $1000 and not $500 due to the fact that you now have 2 units open. If you lose more than $1000, both of your positions will be closed and you will have $1000 left in your acct.

We do not close positions selectively; in a margin call all open positions are closed. It is important to remember that the Account Status feature tracks your margin requirements on a per tick basis so that one is never unaware as to where they stand in regards to margin.

1. Die direkte Ausführung:
ANMERKUNG: ASK= KAUF  -  BID= VERKAUF

Gewinn: 35 Ticks * 10$ = 350$ Gewinn.

BESCHREIBUNG ENGLISCH:

    Interest Payments

Interest charges are determined by the difference between US interest rates and the interest rates in the corresponding country. The greater the interest rate differential between the currency pair, the greater the interest rate payment will be. Currently, the Japanese Yen has the greatest differential with the US Dollar, making the interest charge for holding rollover yen positions the most expensive. Conversely, the Great British Pound has the smallest interest rate differential to the US Dollar, making overnight charges for GBP/USD the least expensive of the 4 currency pairs.

The spot forex market is traded on a 2-day value date. For trades executed on Monday, the value day, or day of delivery, is Wednesday. However, if a position is opened on Monday and held overnight to Tuesday, then the next value day will be that Thursday. For positions that are opened and held overnight on Wednesday, the value date is in fact the following Monday, under the criteria that there is not a holiday in any of the participating markets. On Wednesday, interest is charged for Monday, meaning an extra two days of interest for the weekend when banks are not open and actual delivery of currency cannot be made. Friday is only one-day interest, since weekend interest was charged on Wednesday. It is important to understand that every deal has a value day. If the deal is not closed on the same day, then the trade is subject to rollover.

In order to gain interest on rollover positions you must have a pre-set minimum margin requirement of 5% on all trades, or $5,000 per unit. Our interest policy is this way in order to increase awareness of market risk and volatility. It is an incentive plan aimed at increasing margin requirements, which in turn lowers the risk for both traders and dealers. If you decide to trade on a 5% margin, then you would earn interest on any positions that are long the currency with the higher interest rate. To inquire about a 5% margin contact us at 212-835-0100.

    Spot/Next Swap Points

Here is an example for the calculations for interest rate swap points on any particular day…

    EUR .80 points
    JPY 1.7 points
    GBP .60 points
    CHF 2.10 points

    * These points are taken from our news feeds every day around noon. Swap points are traded instruments and are subject to market volatility.

The formulas are calculated as follows:

    EUR = .00008 x 100,000 = $8.
    JPY = 15,000,000/105.25 = $142517.81 x 0.017 = JPY 2422.8/105.25 = $23.02
    GBP = .00006 x 75,000 = $4.50
    CHF = 150,000/1.57 = $95541 x .00021 = CHF 20.06/1.57 = $12.78 = $13

IN ENGLISCH:

What do the terms "bid/ask" and "spread,” mean?

Bid is the highest price that the seller is offering for the particular currency at the moment; Ask is the lowest price acceptable to the buyer. Together, the two prices constitute a quotation; the difference between the two is the spread, that is, the difference between the price offered by a dealer willing to sell something and the price he’s willing to pay to buy it back. In a trading situation consider the figure $/Y 115.05/10. What this figure means is that MG Financial would be able to offer you yen at .05 but is willing to buy it back at 10. As a trader, the spread is inherently important to know because your desire to obtain or liquidate your position on the market will be effected by the spread.

Live FAQ

1. Can I place stop and limit orders on the same ticket as the open trade?

No, all orders are no longer linked to any particular open position held with the Deal Desk. All open orders are GTC (Good Till Cancelled) and the Deal Desk will execute these orders once triggered. OCO orders (One Cancels Other) are an exception in that if one side of the order is filled, the other side will be cancelled.

2. What is the difference between Demo and Live Trading?

Your dealer in the demo account is an automated machine; you may only open a market order at the market rate, sometimes making it difficult to enter the market because of rapid rate changes. In the real account however, you are trading with professional dealers. When you submit a market order, the dealer will sometimes open it even though the market has moved a few points away from your requested rate. Thus, even if you submit an order at a rate different from the current market rate, your order may still be opened. This flexibility is not available in demo trading: if a market order is submitted where the requested rate is different from the current market rate, the order will not be opened, and you will be informed of the price change by a message box. Although in real trading you may submit a market order at any price, the dealer might reject your order, because of a large difference between the market rate and your requested rate.

3. Will a Stop-Loss order be filled at the exact exchange rate, which the order is placed?

Absolutely, not. There are two good reasons for this answer. Not every price is hit (available for trading) during a move up or down. For example, for $/yen exchange rate often will jump 15 or 20 pips in reaction to a piece of news coming across the wires or an influx of orders. Those who have orders located between the old price and the new price (that is 15 or 20 pips higher) will not have there orders filled at the rate that the orders were entered. Thus, when the exchange rate jumps through the Stop-Loss level, the order will be filled at a rate, which is less favorable to the person closing the position than the rate of the Stop-Loss order. The second reason has to do with the handling of stop-loss orders by MG’s dealing desk. The dealing desk wants to provide the client with an opportunity to comeback from a losing position. If a position is closed, the client will not be able to benefit from a change in the direction or rates. The dealing desk waits for the exchange rate to break through the Stop-Loss level before closing the position.

4. Why is it that if I have a losing position based on one currency and a winning position based on the same currency, I cannot always close out only my losing position?

FIFO (First In First Out) This policy, which follows stricter accounting principles, states that the first position one opens in a particular currency pair is the first position that must be closed when one liquidates. This rule was instituted in the broader market because all traders have a tendency to close out profitable positions yet are reluctant to realize and accept poor decisions. Losing positions are left to sit in the hopes that a huge market swing will somehow rescue them from the market. Although human nature makes it difficult to realize a loss, common sense dictates that this practice is contrary to sound trading techniques. The following axiom has stood the test of time, “Let profits ride and cut losses short.” Losing positions held indefinitely will produce nothing more than added loss, with interest charges eventually resulting in a margin call. FIFO is a trading standard that will bring MG’s clients closer in line with interbank market procedures.

6. What is a "margin call?"

A Margin call is the liquidation of one’s positions due to an inability to meet margin requirements. When one’s account balance is no longer able to cover one’s minimum margin requirement one’s positions are closed automatically. Due to the fact that margin requirements are so low the Trader will not receive a margin call warning, but will instead be closed out automatically. Due to this policy no client has ever lost more money than they had in their account, though it is theoretically possible. Were the market to gap at the same time your positions were being closed due to margin you could theoretically get a closing price much lower than the price you would receive under normal market conditions.

7. Can I deal over the phone?

Yes. MGFG offers our clients the option of dealing with our Dealing Desk either over the Internet or in the more traditional manner of over the phone. Phone orders can be placed with our Dealing Desk 24 hours a day five days a week during trading hours, from Sunday at 7:00 PM EST to Friday at 3:00 PM EST by dialing the Deal Desk.

TWENTY TRADING PRINCIPLES

  1. Before entering the market, have a game plan: the entry price, the price to cut losses and the price to take profits.
  2. A trader's best price is the price in which he/she can exit a position at that moment.
  3. Positions are bought to be sold and sold to be bought. Don't hang on forever.
  4. You will never go broke taking profits.
  5. Let your profits run, but cut your losses short.
  6. Never wait for the extra point. Profits are not made at the top or the bottom, but in the middle.
  7. Fundamentals define the market while technical factors are for timing. Use them in conjunction.
  8. Never trade to make-up losses.
  9. Deal on rumor; close on fact. This strategy is known as "Buy the rumor, sell the fact."
  10. If a large move in the market has caught your eye, chances are that it's largely over.
  11. Market factors can only fuel a market for so long. Fresh fuel is needed to keep the fire burning.
  12. History repeats itself. If you forget the past you're doomed to be reminded of it.
  13. Never buck the trend. "The trend is your friend."
  14. Do not second guess the market. You will go broke trying to prove it wrong.
  15. Base your decisions on facts and idea, not your emotions.
  16. If the profit or loss is yours, the decision must also be yours. It's not the markets fault.
  17. A market decision is a trader's decision. Second guessers should either trade or be quiet.
  18. Markets are global. Go home flat, with stop/limit orders, or instructions to call. Never ignore your positions.
  19. Do not over trade. Proper time and money management is the key to successful trading.
  20. Bulls make money. Bears make money. Pigs get slaughtered.
